When the opportunity came up to open our first restaurant, we knew we wanted it to be special. With our mix of experiences in the food and business industry, and a lot of trial and error, The Sauce finally came together. Without being cliche, a lot of our heart and soul went into that first restaurant – we even built a lot of it ourselves! From the cladding and flooring, to the furniture and décor, everything about The Sauce oozes the vibe and style we had all envisioned.
Since then, we’re always pushing the boundaries. What started out as a little restaurant in Highbury is now the epic food brand everyone is talking about, and the number one place to kick back and get into some seriously good food.
So what makes our food special? Yes, we do burgers. But beef? Meh. To us beef is ‘vanilla’. Why not dig into some Highland venison, soft-shell crab or falafel instead? Our sauces are the enhancing heroes. The ‘icing on the cake’. A diverse range inspired by global classics, our sauces allow for infinite ways to customise our flavours.
