Our Grub

Yes! All our food is halal!

While none of our restaurants are gluten-free, we do have lots of gluten-free options on our menu.

As with any allergy or intolerance, the best thing to do is tell us about it when you come in. Our crew will make sure we do everything we can to cater to your needs, and can talk through all the menu options with you.

Yes, absolutely – and if you’re not sure, just ask! We want you to really enjoy the food we make for you, and this is all part of the service.

We do also have a list of all the dietary and allergy information for all our menu items, and you can also filter by your requirements when you order online. Please do make sure you let us know about any allergies, so we can make sure we take the utmost care in preparing your meal.

Yes, we have plenty of great meat-free grub on our menu. We always do everything we can to make sure all veggie options are kept well away from any meat, including using different grills and separate storage.

Yes, we do – again, you can see vegan items marked on the menu. Please just ask us if you are not sure. Like our veggie food, all vegan food is kept and prepared completely separately from any non-vegan options.

Sorry about that! Because The Sauce prides itself on using locally-sourced, sustainable foods wherever possible, we do occasionally run out of the most popular items, especially during busy times. Don’t worry, though, we will make sure your favourite is back in stock as soon as possible. While you’re waiting, why not try out something new?

The Hot Sauce is our most fiery, fruity and fresh sauce! Use with caution. We’re not kidding, it’s hot.

The bang bang, our legendary sweet chilli mayo is one for the books!

VISITING US

We don’t currently take bookings at any of our restaurants. Feel free to pop in anytime to see if you can grab a table, or just ask one of our staff about wait times.

Our opening hours are from 12PM to late evening, however, this can vary depending on the day and branch. To find your local Sauce opening hours, click here.

Yes! Simply ask one of our crew for the password.

PAYMENT AND OFFERS

Yes. We accept AMEX in all of our restaurants. AMEX is also available for online ordering.

Yes! We love you guys. Just bring your NHS ID card along, and we’ll be happy to give you a discount – all emergency workers are also included.

Don’t worry – you can try again. You’ll be notified if it doesn’t work and will have a chance to re-order. If you’re still having no luck, it’s best to contact your bank.

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Amex for both Delivery and Collect orders. You can also use Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment for online and in store orders.
We don’t accept PayPal (or crypto ;)) yet, sorry!

CLICK AND COLLECT

We’re really sorry about that – even we make mistakes sometimes. Please email [email protected] and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Just come on in and give us your name and order number. Please just arrive on time and tell us you’re collecting an online Click & Collect order.

If the order has already been started, you won’t be able to cancel, but if you’re quick there should be time to cancel. Please call us straightaway if you need to do this, and we’ll do all we can to help.

Just contact the restaurant you ordered from as soon as you can (you can find their number here). We’ll do our best to hold it for you, but The Sauce is best served fresh.

Again, if you can let us know quickly this shouldn’t be a problem. Of course, you will need to pay for any extra items or price differences.

We prefer to try to solve your problem first, but can discuss refunds of course.

If you’ve paid for your order and seen the confirmation screen, then we have your order and the email might just be lost in cyberspace somewhere. Check your junk folder just in case. If you’re really worried, then obviously you can call us.

If you haven’t seen the payment and confirmation screens, then the order probably hasn’t gone through and you need to contact us to fix it.

Call us! As long as we haven’t started preparing your meal, we’ll do whatever we can to get the order re-rerouted.

Possibly – as the situation is changing all the time, so are our guidelines. We will always follow government advice on Covid safety and ask that you do the same, so please make sure you are aware of all the latest guidelines such as mask wearing, social-distancing etc.

Sorry about that – we can’t be everywhere…yet. There are a lot of new restaurants planned for The Sauce, so there’s bound to be one popping up near you soon. However, there might well be one of our restaurants not far away that you could get a takeaway from.
See if your local restaurant is offering Click and Collect .

That’s weird! As we use UberEats, we are confident about your order reaching you in good time. However, if something does go wrong after the food leaves our restaurant you’ll need to contact them directly – you’ll find the info on your confirmation email.

Unfortunately, we do not – however, you can order for delivery through UberEats.

We only deliver within 2.3 miles of each branch at the moment. 

We double check before we send out your order, but if it is wrong, then Uber will compensate on our behalf. Please check your confirmation email and hit the order help link to chat to the UberEats support team.

Unfortunately, not right now. The Sauce discount codes are only valid to claim in store or through our click and collect, but we’re working on it.

If your order has been cancelled unexpectedly, please contact the UberEats Customer Service team via the Help link on your email.

We are working on it! We take sustainability really seriously, and we’re doing everything we can to reduce the amount of plastics we use all the time.
